Adam M. Kane DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology)

Doctor Adam Kane provides the best possible cardiovascular care to his patients, their human companions and their family veterinarian.  Doctor Kane to date has practiced Veterinary Cardiology on the East Coast, but is looking forward to doing some vacation/relief work in the West Coast cardiology offices.

Doctor Kane received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Rochester.  He obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.  Doctor Kane completed his rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists, and then applying his highly developed skill set as an emergency clinician back in Syracuse.  Doctor Kane then moved to Raleigh, NC and collaborated in research on the golden retriever model of muscular dystrophy at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Doctor Kane then obtained and completed a Cardiology Residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, passing the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine examination in 2014 to become a Board Certified Cardiologist.

Doctor Kane’s special interests in cardiology include electrophysiology, arrhythmias and interventional medicine. 

With his time away from the hospital, Adam, a Star Wars and Marvel enthusiast, enjoys cheering on the Syracuse basketball team and spending time with his wife Missy and their adopted perfectly mixed breed canine, Rowdy.
