Whitney joined the Coast to Coast Cardiology team in October of 2016, after extensive experience in the greater Santa Barbara’s veterinary community. Most recently at Advanced Veterinary Specialties she served as the public outreach and client relations manager. Prior to that, she was a client patient liaison for both the internal medicine and emergency departments of a 24 hour specialty and referral practice and before that a veterinary assistant for a local veterinary general practice. Her interest in animal welfare and veterinary medicine began in 2008 when she began volunteering at the local dog shelter while attending University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Italian Cultural Studies and a minor in Art History, Whitney went on to manage the shelter operations of Dog Adoption and Welfare Group of Santa Barbara, taking emergency calls for the animals in the greatest need of our help.

She has a true passion for the health and happiness of patients and their families. In her free time Whitney can be found hiking around Santa Barbara with her rescue pitbull Casey Jr. and chihuahua Jasper, cooking vegetarian feasts for her family and friends, or on her yoga mat.
